Japanese-style grilled chicken sauce.

This mildly roast Yakitori (Japanese grilled chicken) sauce. Based in soy sauce and coarse sugar, and deeply enriched by miso.

How to cook Yakitori :

Heat the oil in a frying pan and place the chicken skewers in the pan. Grill the chicken skewer’s on both sides; place the lid on the frying pan and heat gently over low heat until the chicken is cooked through. Lastly, remove the lid and increase the heat slightly, cooking the chicken skewers, so the surface of each chicken piece is crisp and baste with Yakitori sauce (Barbecue Sauce for Broiled Chicken).
