If we’re talking about green tea noodles many people are familiar with Cha soba, right? Today, we’d like to introduce delicious Cha udon as another option for those who enjoy green tea noodles.

Sanuki Udon is Japan’s most famous udon. Produced from wheat flour grown using traditional cultivation methods in Kagawa City. It imparts a soft, sticky, chewy texture that distinguishes it from other types of wheat flour. Paired with Takase green tea, which is fed by the crystal-clear Yoshino River. It runs through the Shikoku mountains and the lush nature of Kagawa. It is kneaded into the Sanuki Udon dough until well combined and then cut with Ishimaru’s signature knife. Until the udon noodles are sticky, soft, and shiny, with the refreshing aroma of green tea. With the first prize in the Kagawa Prefectural Product Contest 2014, you can be sure of deliciousness. Simply boil for a few minutes and it’s ready to eat. It’s delicious whether served hot, cold, or in a salad.

Delicious by boiling method. (for 100 g)
1. Heat 1 liter of water, then add the udon noodles and cook for 5 minutes, being careful not to let the water boil too much to keep the noodles firm. Stir constantly to prevent the lines from sticking together.
2. Place the noodles in a colander or sieve. Wash with cold water 2-3 times.
3. Serve with your favorite sauce or soup.
