Hakata Japanese Roasted Sea Salt is Hakata salt that has been roasted for 2-3 hours at temperatures above 400 degrees Celsius to completely dry the salt. It aids in the removal of bitterness and impurities found in seawater. As a result, the salt is extremely clean, very fine, and easy to dissolve. The taste is softer than regular sea salt, not overly salty, and has a mild sweet taste that sticks to the tip of the tongue.
