Sushi vinegar, or seasoned rice vinegar, is an important part of making sushi. Vinegar was originally added to rice as a way to help preserve the fish. Made with vinegar brewed from sake, sugar, natural salt and konbu kelp dashi stock. The tradition has stuck and rice vinegar is used to add unique and yummy.
How To Use :
• Once the rice is cooked, add it to a large bowl.
• While the rice is cooling, add 2 tbsp of sushi vinegar to every one cup of cooked rice.
• Fold the vinegar until the rice has fully cooled. Your rice is now ready to make sushi!
